THE "GOLD" OF PUGLIA

A low-acidity oil with a fruity taste, hints of fresh herbs and a slight bitter and spicy note. It is made from olives grown in the countryside of central Puglia. The olives are harvested and pressed within two days to ensure that all their organoleptic properties are preserved.

The Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) is an important recognition of the value and quality with which the European Community guarantees consumers the area of origin and typical characteristics of our extra virgin olive oil produced in the ‘Terra di Bari’ region.

Terra di Bari P.D.O. extra virgin olive oil is the gold of Puglia.

The environmental conditions and cultivation methods used in the olive groves in our province of Bari give P.D.O. extra virgin olive oil its unique characteristics, making it a highly prized extra virgin olive oil.
Traditional cultivation methods and pruning techniques must be used to preserve the original characteristics of the olives.

Taste

A fruity green oil with hints of fresh olives, freshly cut grass and bitter almonds.

Aroma

This oil is characterised by a balanced flavour, with distinct bitter and spicy notes. Obtained from olives harvested at the right degree of ripeness, it has a full, fruity taste and retains all the natural characteristics typical of freshly pressed oil.

Recommendations

We recommend using it raw, simply poured over a slice of lightly toasted bread. Luglio 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil enhances the flavour of salads, meat and fish, as well as legumes and grilled vegetables.

Storage

To preserve the sensory and nutritional properties of our oil for longer: close the container tightly after each use, use dark bottles or tin containers and store the product below 20°C (the optimal range is between 12 and 18°C).
